Funfit's CHEER Camp is the ultimate hands-on learning experience that will help increase your child's self-confidence, important life skills & teach them what they need to know to become a true cheerleader.

THE PROGRAM

During our Summer Cheer Camps, participants learn how to perform cheers, through concentrated practice in stunts, tumbling, gymnastics, dance and strength training on our exclusive Circuit equipment. Yoga in the afternoons will benefit campers through balance, concentration and flexibility. Benefits of cheer camp include increased body awareness, coordination, strength, balance, flexibility and the social & leadership benefits learned through teamwork. This concentrated approach will produce a successful group of cheerleading athletes in just one week of camp.

Creative time will be spent with Cheerleading themed Crafts. A show will be performed on the last day for parents & friends.

OUR COACHES and OUR CENTER

Our Center provides safety with thick matt flooring in the class area and we will use safe, hydraulic Circuit equipment (exclusive to Funfit) for the kids during their strength training. The camp will be a small group setting with a maximum of 18 kids, allowing for personal attention and safety for all.
Our head cheerleading coach and coaching assistants (cheerleaders themselves from Sherwood & Magruder High schools), provide expert instruction and supervision for the children with safety always at the forefront. Funfit is a business member of IDEA Health & Fitness Association and abides by all rules and regulations for exercise safety.

Please note cheer wear is available for purchase during camp, but not required. Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
